Character Arc[]

Darryl arrives in Eastwick and quickly makes his mark on the town, buying the Lennox Estate and moving into the extravagant mansion. He also purchases the local candle factory and Eastwick Gazette. Darryl first invites Roxie to his home and commissions a statue of himself for $50,000 and also asks to sleep with her. Roxie rejects his offer and storms off by his vulgar (yet charming) behavior. Darryl then sets his sights on Joanna, his new employee. While out for coffee he encourages her to be more confident and upfront about what she wants, telling her that she can hypnotise men with her eyes. Later, Darryl encounter the trio of women at a restaurant and once again, empowers them with encourages words, allowing them to let loose and frolic in the streets of Eastwick thanks to enchanted water.

Later that night as he is driving Roxie home in her limo, she has a vision of Mia being sexually assaulted by Gus. The pair arrive to save her just in-time and Darryl grabs Gus off of her and throws him onto the floor. After Mia is home safely, Roxie, giving into temptation, kisses Darryl but slaps him and sends him home.

When Joanna came across information about Darryl's past, he somehow knew about it and sent his dog to intercept her as she was about to discover a file stored at the Eastwick Historical Society.

Powers and Abilities[]

Intuition: Darryl has the uncanny ability to sense and know information he isn't privy too. For example, when he bought gifts for Roxie, Kat and Joanna, he knew exactly what they needed and what would become useful for them in specific situations in the near future.

He was also able to know the true desires and wants of Roxie, Kat and Joanna, some of which they only confided to each other.

Trivia[]

  • His "Witches of Eastwick" book/movie counterpart is Daryl Van Horne (played by Jack Nicholson in the 1987 film)
